CALLING ALL SINGERS!
Hey, you shower singers! We know who you are. You’re the folks sitting out in the audience that can’t help singing along with us. You can’t wait for the “audience sing” numbers to come along so you can let loose. The problem is that some of the people around you aren’t singing very loud and you would love to belt it out. If you join the Wimberley Community Chorus, you can cut loose at Monday night rehearsals, 6:30-8:30pm and sing your heart out in the 3 different seasonal concerts: Spring, July 4th, and Winter. We have a different director every season and you sign up for a single season at a time. If it isn’t a great fit you aren’t obligated.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Our first rehearsal is February 16, 2026 at 6:30 pm. It's best to get there 30 minutes early for the first practice to get your folder, etc. You can sign up early HERE for NEW singers or HERE for RETURNING Singers. You can also sign up at the first practice.
WHERE & WHEN
Practice is held every Monday night from 6:30-8:30 pm in Avey Hall/Chapel in the Hills, 14601 RR 12, Wimberley, Texas. Only the first practice starts at 6:30 to work out registration, folders, etc. Our concerts will be on May 16 at 7pm and May 17 at 3pm.
HOW GOOD DO I HAVE TO BE?
We don’t have auditions, but it does help if you have sung in church or school choirs, or have an understanding of music from playing an instrument. There is a diversity of skill and experience in our choir so you can learn and grow from those that have more experience
